We focus ONLY on refrigerator, freezer, ice maker and wine cooler repairs. Because of our specialized focus, we have more expertise in these appliances than many general service technicians. This means we can often diagnose and repair more quickly—which helps save you money.
Meet the Lead Technician
Northbay Refrigerator Repair is a local family-owned and operated business. Dave Zrnich, the owner, will be the lead technician on most service calls.
His family has been in the service and repair industry for over 50 years, including 30 years of specific focus on refrigerator repair.
Dave has formal education in electrical, mechanical, computers and manufacturing, and has always enjoyed fixing things. His interest in refrigerator repair grew as he accompanied his brother in law, a skilled refrigerator repair technician, on his rounds in Marin County over the course of many years. After apprenticing with his brother in law, Dave recently started his own refrigerator repair business in Sonoma County in the spring of 2017.
Having worked in the service industry his entire life, Dave takes great pride in his excellent customer service skills.
He has lived in Sonoma County for over 30 years. He is married and has four sons.
About Service Calls
Most repairs can be quoted over the phone. (Call 707-867-6887 to get a quote now!) We charge a $140 service charge M-F and a $180 service charge after-hours or on Sundays. That price includes gas and travel expenses, and diagnostic / trouble-shooting. Once diagnostic time is complete, any additional time is subject to our hourly labor charge.
NOTE: We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
High-End Refrigerators
We don’t just handle standard refrigerators, freezers and ice makers. We also service high-end refrigerators and built-ins. If you have one of these pieces of equipment, like Viking, Thermador and Sub-Zero, call us today for a custom quote.

We Warranty Our Work
All our work comes with a written one-year warranty on all labor. This means we will fix the problem the first time. But, if that issue should reoccur, we guarantee our work for 12 months.
Any parts needing replacement come with a manufacturer warranty of either 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, depending on the part.
